Manoj Sarkar wins a Bronze Medal in the Tokyo Paralympics 2020

It’s a great news for our country that Manoj Sarkar wins a bronze medal in the Tokyo Paralympics 2020. He wins a bronze medal in the men’s singles SL3 Badminton event at the Paralympics Games in Tokyo.

Manoj Sarkar defeated Daisuke Fujihara from Japan by 22-20, 21-13, and win a bronze medal for India. In past, the condition of Manoj arose out of wrongful medical treatment at an age of one and hails from a modest background with two siblings. He was also suffered from a PPRP Lower Limb condition.

Earlier Manoj won several awards including 3 gold, 1 silver, and 3 bronze medals at the World Championships, 1 silver, and 2 bronze medals in the Asian Para Games, and 1 gold medal, and 1 bronze medal in the Asian Para-Badminton Championships. Manoj Sarkar also received Arjuna Award on September 25, 2018.
