Mumbai Indians beat Chennai Super Kings by 4 wickets

Mumbai Indians (MI) defeated Chennai Super Kings by 4 wickets in the 27th match of the IPL 2021 at Feroz Shah Kotla, Delhi.

Earlier MI won the toss and chose to bowl first in this match. Due to great batted by Ambati Rayudu 72 (27) not out, smashed 7 sixes and 4 boundaries, Moeen Ali 58 (36), smashed 5 sixes and 5 boundaries, and Faf du Plessis 50 (28), smashed 4 sixes and 2 boundaries, CSK made a huge score of 218/4 in 20 overs. Only Kieron Pollard 2/12 (2) bowled well from the MI side.

Due to great batted by Kieron Pollard 87 (34) not out, smashed 8 sixes and 6 boundaries, Quinton de Kock 38 (28), smashed 4 boundaries and 1 six, Rohit Sharma 35 (24), smashed 4 boundaries and 1 six, and Krunal Pandya 32 (23), smashed 2 boundaries and 2 sixes, MI won the match by 4 wickets against CSK. Sam Curran 3/34 (4), and Moeen Ali 1/1 (1) good bowled from the CSK side.

After winning this match, MI has moved to the 4th position on the IPL 2021-point table. CSK remained at the top position on the IPL 2021-point table after losing this match.

Kieron Pollard (MI) 2/12 (2), & 87 (34) not out, was declared as the Player of the Match due to great performance in bowling and batting.
