India crosses 1 lakhs coronavirus second wave cases for the first time since pandemic began

India crosses the covid-19 cases more than 2.9 lakh for the first time since the pandemic began and Maharashtra faced the worst-hit state with 68,631new coronavirus cases with 501 deaths on April 19, 2021 The state government of Maharashtra shuts malls, theatres, gardens, shops, bars, and restaurants and imposed a night curfew as a weekend lockdown to reduce the cases.

Due to the massive spike in Maharashtra, India reported over 2 lakh cases 2,95,041 record new cases with record 2,023 deaths on April 21, 2021 as per Union Health Ministry. The second wave of coronavirus cases causes a higher peak as compared with the first wave of coronavirus. In the current week, India recorded 5,48,625 new covid-19 cases between March 29 and April 4, 2021. There were 2,974 deaths are recorded between March 29 to April 4. The total number of cases after the pandemic began is 15,616,130 with 1,82,553 deaths in India on April 21, 2021

So, we should take precautions and take vaccines that help in lowering the cases of Covid-19 cases in India. After vaccinated, still take precautions and should wear a mask, maintain social distancing, wash hands regularly, and avoid gathering parties that help in reducing the spread of Covid-19 cases in our country.
