South Korean company, Samsung has introduced the Galaxy A9 (2018) at an event in Kuala Lumpur Malaysia on Oct 11, 2018. Galaxy A9 (2018) is the world’s first mobile with four separate rear cameras. It also has infinity display with an aspect ratio of 18.5:9 and 8GB RAM. Earlier Samsung has launched Galaxy A7 (2018) with three rear camera.
Specifications – Galaxy A9 (2018) offers a 6.3-inch full-HD+ with a resolution of 1080×2220 pixels infinity display with an aspect ratio of 18.5:9 and Super AMOLED panel. It has Qualcomm Snapdragon 660 SoC with either 6GB or 8GB RAM. The mobile also offer storage of 128GB that can be expandable up to 512GB with the help of microSD card and is back up by a 3,800mAh battery with fast charging 2.0 supports. It operates on Android 8.0 Oreo and support dual-SIM. It also has fingerprint sensor which is placed on the back section.
In case of cameras, the smartphone comes with a four rear cameras. First camera of 24-megapixel is with an f/1.7 aperture. Second one telephoto camera of 10-megapixel is with features of f/2.4 aperture and 2x optical zoom. Third one ultra-wide camera of 8-megapixel is with features of f/2.4 aperture and 120-degree lens and lastly depth camera of 5-megapixel with an f/2.2 aperture. There is another camera which is placed at the front of 24-megapixel with an f/2.0 aperture. It also offers Samsung Pay and Face Unlock technology. It has several features such as Bluetooth v5.0, 4G VoLTE, USB Type C, Wi-Fi 802.11ac (dual band, 2.4GHz and 5GHz), NFC, and a 3.5mm headphone jack. Mobile has also several sensors such as RGB light sensor, magnetometer, accelerometer, ambient light sensor, gyroscope, and proximity sensor.
Price details – Galaxy A9 (2018) will be available in Lemonade Blue color, Caviar Black, and Bubblegum Pink at a price of EUR 599 (approximately Rs. 51,300) and GBP 549 (approximately Rs. 53,700) from November. The availability and price details of Galaxy A9 (2018) was not declared at an event in Indian market.
