  1. The cholestrol in eggs affecting and raising cholesterol has been quite overblown in the past, and there is little empirical information to date regarding ill effects from egg consumption (in low to moderate amounts).

Not that this is empirical truth for everyone, but I remember reading an interview with Jesse “The Body” Ventura and in it he talked about how in the 70’s he was eating a dozen raw eggs a day (!) for over a year, and his mother was a nurse, and so she was concerned about his cholesterol, so had him come to the hospital to get his cholesterol tested, and it ended up being better than average.

Not to say that would be a good idea to do, always best to have a wide variety of healthy foods, especially whole grains, vegetables lean proteins, fruits, nuts, seeds, etc. and plenty of water, but makes one think about how much can be trusted regarding certainty of certain health information from a wide variety of sources.

Great blog and posts, been looking through them!
