Chinese company, Coolpad has introduced the Cool M7 smartphone in Chine. It is available in Matte Black and Blue colour options starting from August 26 at a price of CNY 2,699 (approximately Rs 25,900).

The Cool M7 smartphone offers a 5.5-inch with a resolution of 1080×1920 pixels full HD display with 2.5D curved glass protection and operates on the latest Android 7.1.1 Nougat software with Cool UI customisations.. It has a 14nm Snapdragon 625 octa-core SoC with Adreno 506 GPU and 4GB of RAM. The device also offers 64GB storage that can be option for expand by using microSD card and is back-up by a 3200mAh battery.

The smartphone comes with a camera at rear of 12-megapixe Sony IMX362 sensor and a camera at front of 13-megapixel use for selfie. The rear camera has f/1.8 aperture and dual-tone LED flash and the front camera has f/2.2 aperture and 79.8-degree-field of view. It has several features such as 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 ac (2.4GHz/ 5GHz), Bluetooth v4.2, GPS + GLONASS, and USB 2.0 Type-C. The sizes of the smartphone are 151.16×74.32×6.9mm and weighs 152 grams only.

Cool M7 smartphone is made up of slim metallic unibody and a single camera setup is located at the rear. The home button is placed in the front, bearing the fingerprint sensor. The volume and power keys are situated on the right edge of the smartphone, and the USB Type-C port is located on the bottom edge of the device. It has 3.5mm audio jack and the fingerprint sensor.

The company did not give the information about the launch of Cool 7 smartphone in global market including India.
