Nubia, a trademark of ZTE, has introduced the M2 Lite smartphone in Indian market. It will be available in Black Gold colour only through Amazon opening at 12pm IST on May 9, 2017 at a price of Rs 13,999. Earlier the M2 Lite smartphone was introduced in China in March
The M2 Lite smartphone offers a 5.5-inch HD with a resolution of 720×1280 pixels display with a pixel density of 267ppi and a 2.5D Corning Gorilla glass that protects the screen of the smartphone. It has an octa-core MediaTek Helio P10 (MT6750) S0C with 4GB of RAM. The device offers a 32GB storage that can be expandable up to 128GB by using microSD card.
The smartphone operates on Nubia UI 4.0 which is based on Android 6.0 Marshmallow and is back-up by a 3000mAh battery with a support of fast charging.
According to company, Neovision is the main feature that enables a strong multifunctional camera. The smartphone comes with a camera at rear of 13-megapixel with f/2.2 aperture and a camera at front of 16-megapixel. The front camera comes with a 5P lens, f/2.0 aperture and 79.8-degree wide angle. It has several features such as 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.0, and USB OTG. There are some sensors in the smartphone including fingerprint, accelerometer, Gyro, proximity, and compass. Its dimensions are 155.73×76.73×7.68mm and weighs 164 grams.
The company claimed that the smartphone comes with customisations to the M2 Lite, in which users can create two accounts on one mobile and supports popular apps, including WhatsApp and Facebook. The screen will be divided into two sections including the upper and lower sections in portrait mode, and into left and right sections in landscape mode. This feature supports most third party apps. The device also offer a long screenshot feature to capture everything with scroll down the screen with one click and the screen recording feature on this smartphone.
