Chinese company, Xiaomi has introduced the Mi 6 smartphone at the event in Beijing. It will be available from April 28 in Chinese market.
The Mi 6 smartphone is divided in three models as per specifications such as- 64GB storage/ 6GB RAM model at CNY 2,499 (roughly Rs 23,500), 128GB/ 6GB RAM at CNY 2,899 (roughly Rs 27,000). These three models will be available in Black, White and Blue colour only.
The company has also launched the Mi 6 Ceramic smartphone at a price of CNY 2,999 (roughly Rs 28,000). It comes with a 128GB storage with 6GB of RAM and available in Black colour only.
The Mi 6 smartphone offers a 5.15-inch with a resolution of 1080×1920 pixels full-HD display and its maximum brightness is about 600 nits. The brightness can be decreased automatically down to 1 nit for reduce eye-strain. It has a new octa-core Snapdragon 835 SoC with 3GB of RAM and Adreno 540 GPU.
The smartphone comes with a dual rear camera of 12-megapixel wide-angle lens and other 12-megapixel telephoto camera for 2x lossless and a camera at front of 8-megapixel. The rear camera offers phase-detection autofocus and four-axis anti-shake functionality for blur-free images whereas the front camera has 1080p video capture at 30fps, slo-mo videos. The sides of the device are made up of stainless steel, offer high-gloss outline. The company has discarded the 3.5mm headphone jack, and the USB Type-C.
The smartphone has several features including 2X2 MIMO Wi-Fi, and 4G+ networks with download speed of 600Mbps and upload speed of 100Mbps, front-firing dual speakers, Bluetooth 5.0, and support dual-SIM. The fingerprint scanner is located under glass at the front and is back up by a 3350 mAh battery.
