Finland Company, HMD Global has introduced the iconic Nokia 3310 smartphone at Mobile World Congress (MWC) 2017 in Barcelona. It is the new brand of Nokia which will be available in Warm Red, Yellow, Dark Blue and Grey colour for options at a price of EUR 49 (approximately Rs 3,500).
The company has launched the Nokia 3310 model which is available in a latest design with the Snake game. The Snake game will be available for users through messenger app.
The Nokia 3310 smartphone offers a 2.1-inch Quarter Video Graphics Array (QUVA) display with a resolution of 320×240 pixels. It has storage of 16MB which can be expandable up to 32GB by using microSD card and is back up by a 1200mAh battery. The company claimed that the Nokia 3310 have 22 hours of battery life and will continue for one month of standby time in a single charge. The device supports 2G connectivity and operates on Nokia Series 30+Operating System.
The device comes with a camera at rear of 2-megapixel with LED flash and also offers a Micro-USB port with the pin charger.
The company also introduced the Nokia 3, Nokia 5 and Nokia 6 smartphones at MWC in Barcelona. The Nokia 3, Nokia 5 and Nokia 6smartphones will be available at prices of EUR 139 (approximately Rs 9,800), EUR 189 (approximately Rs 13,500) and EUR 229 (approximately Rs 16,000). It also launched the new Nokia 6 Arc Black which is available in piano black colour at a price of EUR 299 (approximately Rs 21,000).
The Nokia 3, Nokia 5 and Nokia 6 will be launched by the company in Indian market in between July and September (Q2) 2017.
The Nokia 3 smartphone offers a 5-inch HD with a resolution of 720×1280 pixels IPS display. It has quad-core MediaTek MT6737 processor with 2GB of RAM and it is back up by a 2650mAh battery. The device has storage of 16GB storage which can be expandable up to 128GB by using microSD card and operates on Android 7.0 Nougat Operating System. It is made up of a polycarbonate body, machined aluminium frame and offers Corning Gorilla Glass lamination for safety.
The device offers a rear and front camera of 8-megapixel with autofocus and LED flash. It will be available in Silver, White, matter Black, Tempered Blue, and Copper White colour in a single or dual SIM. Its dimensions are 143.4×71.4×8.4mm. The smartphone supports 4G LTE and LTE Cat. 4 speeds which have download speeds of up to 150Mbps and upload speeds of up to 50Mbps.
The Nokia 5 smartphone offers a 5.2-inch with a resolution of 720×1280 pixels IPS LCD display with 2.5D Corning Gorilla Glass protection. It has Qualcomm Snapdragon 430 processor with 3GB of RAM and is back up by a 3000mAh battery. The device will be available in Tempered Blue, Silver, Matte Black, and Copper colours in a single or dual SIM. It has a fingerprint sensor which is located on the home button and is made up of seamless metal body.
The device comes with a rear camera of 13-megapixel with Phase Detection Autofocus (PDAF) and dual LED flash and a front camera of 8-megapixel with autofocus and 84-degrees field of view lens. It has storage of 16GB which can be expandable up to 128GB by using microSD card. Its dimensions are 149.7×72.5×8.05mm and supports LTE Cat. 4 download speeds.
The Nokia 6 smartphone offers a 5.5-inch full-HD display which has a 2.5D Gorilla Glass protection and is back up by a 3000mAh battery with the support of fast-charging. It has a Snapdragon 430 SoC with 3GB of RAM and supports dual-SIM. The Nokia 6 comes with 64GB storage and 4GB RAM in Chinese market.
The device has a rear camera of 16-megapixel with f/2.0 aperture, Phase Detection Autofocus (PDAF) and dual LED flash and a front camera of 8-megapixel with f/2.0 aperture. It operates on Android 7.0 Nougat and also offers USB 2.0 port for connectivity. The phone has a fingerprint sensor, stereo speakers, and Dolby Atmos audio feature
