Taiwanese company, Asus has introduced the latest (Republic of Gamers) ROG series of ROG Strix GL553 gaming laptop in Indian market. It is available at a cost of Rs 94,990. Earlier the company was first launched the laptop in Consumer Electronics Show (CES) 2017.
The ROG Strix gaming laptop offers a 15.6-inch full-HD with a resolution of 1920×1080 pixels 60Hz IPS display and back up by a 48Whrs battery. The laptop runs on 62-bit Windows 10 and has four different lighting areas for play video games in night, 30-key rollover, and 2.5mm key travel.
The gaming laptop is available in seventh generation Intel Core i5-7300HQ and Core i7-7700HQ processors with any 8GB or 16GB of 2400MHz RAM options for users which can be expandable up to 32GB DDR4 RAM. It has the options for the users of an Nvidia GeForce GTX 1050 with either 2GB or 4GB of GDDRS video memory or a GeForce GTX 1050Ti with 4GB of GDDR4 video memory.
The device has several features including Gigabit Ethernet, Bluetooth v4.0, Wi-Fi 802.11ac, 2xUSB 3.0 ports, 1xUSB 2.0 port and 1xHDMI port, one USB 2.0 port, one HDMI port, one headphone jack and one 2-in-1 card reader. Its dimensions are 383x255x21mm and weighs 2.5kg.
