Chinese company, Honor will introduce a new Honor 6X Smartphone in Indian market today. The timing of the launch is at 12pm in an event in New Delhi. The smartphone will be available in Gold, Silver, Grey, Blue and Rose Gold colour options for users through Amazon.
Earlier the company was introduced the Honor 6X smartphone in October in the Chinese market. It is available in three different models such as – 3GB RAM with 32GB storage at Rs CNY 999 (approximately Rs9, 900), 4GB RAM with 32GB storage at CNY 1,299 (approximately Rs 12,900), and 4GB RAM with 64GB at CNY 1,599 (approximately Rs 15,800). But the company did not inform about whose model will launch in India.
Specifications
The Honor 6X smartphone offers a 5.5-inch with a resolution of 1080×1920 pixels full-HD display which was secured by 2.5D curved glass protection. It has a Kirin 655 octa-core (4 cores at 2.1GHz + 4 cores at 1.7GHz) SoC and operates on EMUI 4.1 Operating System which is based on Android 6.0 Marshmallow. The storage can be expanded up to 128GB by using microSD card. Its dimensions are 150.9×72.6×8.2mm and weigh 162 grams and are back up by a 3340mAh battery with fast charging support.
The device comes with dual camera at rear of 12-megapixel and a front camera of 8-megapixel. The dual rear camera offers Phase Detection Auto Focus (PDAF) and an extra 2-megapixel camera which is placed in right below. It has several features such as 4G VoLTE, Bluetooth 4.1, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, and GPS/ A-GPS. The smartphone also has fingerprint sensor and supports dual-SIM.
