Chinese company, Alcatel will launch Idol 4 smartphone in Indian market on December 8. Earlier the company has launched the Idol 4 smartphone in February at an event of pre-MWC 2016 in Barcelona. The device is available at a price of EUR 279 (approximately Rs 20,100) at the time of launch globally but the company did not announce the cost of the smartphone in India.
The Idol 4 smartphone offers a 5.2-inch FHD (1080×1920 pixels) IPS display and is back up by a 2610mAh battery with Quick Charge support. The smartphone has octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 617 processor with Adreno 405 GPU and 3GB RAM. There is storage of 16GB that can be expandable up to 512GB by using microSD card.
The smartphone operates on Android 6.0 Marshmallow operating system and supports dual-SIM. It comes with two cameras which are situated at the rear of 13-megapixel with dual-tone LED flash and at the front of 8-megapixel use for selfies. Its size is 147×72.5×7.1mm and weighs 130 grams.
The Idol 4 smartphone has various features which includes 4G/LTE, Wi-Fi (802.11 a/b/g/n/ac), -Wi-Fi Direct, micro-USB port, Bluetooth 4.2, NFC, GPS/A-GPS, Boom key for instant photo and Waves sound technology and also three sensors include G-sensor, E-Compass, and Gyroscope.
