A massive earthquake and then tsunami hits Japan today and disrupting the Fukushima nuclear plant. The tsunami and earthquake is similar as a nuclear tragedy in 2011.
According to the Japan Meteorological Service, the magnitude of the earthquake is 7.4 in Tokyo. The earthquake was centered off the coast of Fukushima at a depth of around 10 km.
At present no informations about the deaths and serious injuries after some hours of the earthquake which is strike at 5:59 a.m.
The report from the public broadcaster NHK that the after tsunami the waves hitting ports along the coast of around 1,4meters (4.5 feet).
Every nuclear plant is closed due to tsunami alarming on the coast. Tsunami is similar in the March 2011 when the radiation was leak in the air and sea from Tokyo Electric Power Co’s Fukushima nuclear plant.
There was no harm in the Onagawa nuclear plant as per report from Japan. The Kyodo news agency informed that at present no damage at the Tokai Daini nuclear plant in Ibaraki prefecture.
