Alcatel has introduced a Windows 10 based Idol 4S smartphone. It will be available from November at a price of $469.99 (roughly Rs 31,500). Earlier the company has launched the Idol 4S which is based on Android Marshmallow.
The Alcatel Idol 4S offers a 5.5-inch HD (1080×1920 pixels) Amoled display in place of the QHD display version in the previous launched smartphone Idol 4S which is based on Android version. It has a Snapdragon 820 chipset, Adreno 530 GPU and 4GB RAM while the earlier Idol 4S smartphone has Snapdragon 652, Adreno 510 GPU and 3GB of RAM.
The new smartphone has a camera is placed at the rear of 21-megapixel comes with a touch focus and dual LED flash. Previously smartphone comes with two cameras, first camera is placed at the rear of 16-megapixel and second camera is placed at the front of 8-megapixel with LED flash.
The company offers for the users of Windows based Idol 4S, will get free 45-days for Hulu Plus and 30 days for Microsoft Groove music service. It will also offer a Spartan Assault, a Windows 10 based game.
There is storage of 64GB that can be expandable up to 128GB by using microSD card. It has dual-firing stereo speakers which are based on Windows 10. Its size is 153.9×75.4×6.99mm, and weighs 152 grams. The smartphone has 3000mAh battery which is charged in 95 minutes by using Quick Charge version 2.0.
The new smartphone has various features – 4G LTE (Cat 4), Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac, Wi-Fi Direct NFC, Bluetooth 4.1, GPS and Micro-USB (with OTG). It will available in black-colored with gold metallic edges
