Importance of Alvida Jumma Prayer (Namaz) in Islam

Alvida Jumma is also called as ‘Jumma Tul Wida’, which is celebrated by Muslims on the last or final Friday of Ramadan before the Eid-ul-Fitr celebration all over the world. Alvida Jumma is the final or last Jumma (Friday of this holy month of Ramadan, which symbolizes the end of Ramazan and gives a happy or excited feel for the Eid celebration.  Last or Final Jumma (Friday) holds great significance and marks an important event or occasion for Muslims worldwide. As per Islamic Belief, Alvida Jumma Prayer (Namaz) is the most important and compulsory prayer (Namaz) for all Muslims during the sacred month of Ramadan. On this day, Muslims offer a special prayer (Namaz) to seek forgiveness, blessings, and rewards from God (Allah) during the holy month of Ramazan.

Alvida or last Jumma (Friday) means farewell of Jumma (Friday) and is considered as the second holiest day for Muslims during the holy month of Ramazan. Muslim individuals offer special prayer (Namaz) in their Mosques on the last or final Jumma (Friday) during the blessed month of Ramadan. Jumma Prayer (Namaz) is considered to be the holiest day in Islam, and the final or Last Jumma prayer (Namaz) of Ramadan is celebrated with a special congregational prayer (Namaz) as a farewell to the sacred month of Ramadan. Fasting (Roza) on Alvida or Last Jumma (Friday) is very important for all Muslims worldwide.  Alvida or last Jumma (Friday) is observed, which indicates that the sacred or holy month of Ramzan is coming to an end. Jumma (Friday) is of great significance to Muslims, and they observe special prayers that are held at noon in mosques worldwide. Alvida Jumma prayer (Namaz) is a very important and special prayer (Namaz) in Islam, which is obligatory for all Muslims during the holy month of Ramadan.

At present, Alvida Jumma is the last Jumma (Friday) of Ramazan, which will be celebrated on March 13 or 20 in the year 2026, which may depend on the sighting of the moon during the holy month of Ramadan. Alvida or Last Jumma Prayer (Namaz) signifies the end of the sacred month of Ramzan and is celebrated with joy and happiness. Muslims offer special prayer (Namaz) to seek forgiveness, blessings, and rewards from Almighty Allah during the blessed month of Ramazan. Muslim individuals also offer Charity (Zakat) to poor people to celebrate the Eid festival with their family members. Poor people use Zakat to purchase new clothes and Sawai (Sweet) to enjoy or celebrate the Eid festival with joy and dignity.
