It’s very heartbreaking news mainly for Iran and Shia Muslims across the world during the sacred month of Ramadan.

Ayatollah Ali Khamenei was a Shia cleric and politician in Iran and also worked as the Supreme Leader of Iran between 1989 and until his dead on February 28, in the year 2026. Earlier,  he also worked as the President of Iran between 1981 and 1989. The tenure of Ayatollah Ali Khamenei as a Supreme Leader of 36 years and 6 months until his dead on February 28, in the year 2026. He was also popular from his title Ayatollah, and was one of the leading Marja of Shia Muslims across the world.

Ayatollah Ali Khamenei was born in the Khamenei family on April 19 in the year 1939 in the city of Mashad in Iran. He studied at a hamza in the city of Mashad and after that, he lived in Qom in Iran in the year 1958 and attended the classes of Ruhollah Khomeini. Later, he was arrested six times due to involved in opposition to Shah of Iran, Mohammad Reza Pahalvi. Khamenei played an important role in the Iranian Revolution and later he served several good posts in the newly Islamic Republic in Iran. When  Ayatollah Ali Khamenei became a Supreme Leader of Iran, he supported nuclear program for civilian use in Iran while issuing a fatwa against the production of nuclear weapons and encouraged technological and scientific development of Iran in spite of global sanctions. He also supported economic privatization of industries with oil and gas reserves, which may help Iran to become a energy superpower worldwide. The foreign policy of Ayatollah Ali Khamenei may focused on Shia Islamism. Ayatollah Ali Khamenei also supported India in the Kashmir issue.

Ayatollah Ali Khamenei also played a significant role in the development of IRGC (Islamic Revolutionary Guard Cops) by changing it into a main tool and give power for local or domestic control and regional influence in Iran. Khamenei always supported Palestines in the Israel Palestine conflic or in the Gaza war against Israel. He also supported Russis in the Russia Ukraine war. Iran also involved in proxy wars against the Israel and Saudi Arabia and also hostile relations with the United States under the Supreme Leader, Ayatollah Ali Khamenei of Iran.
