Introduction – The word ‘’Fitrah’’ is an Arabic word, which means ‘’Original Deposition’’ and is an obligatory charity, which is distributed at the end of fasting in the sacred month of Ramadan before the Eid celebration. Fitrah is an obligatory charitable donation for all Muslims to help poor or needy individuals who are unable to purchase new clothes and sweets to celebrate Eid with their families. Muslims pay fitrah to purify or cleanse their fast (Roza) during the last Ashra of Ramadan, which ensures that poor people can also purchase new clothes, Sawai, and many more things to celebrate Eid with their families. All Muslims must pay Fitrah or Charity on their own behalf and on behalf of their dependents, including children and wives.

Fitrah is a form of purification or cleansing for those individuals who offer all 30 days of fasting (Roza) during the sacred month of Ramadan, intended to compensate for any mistakes made at the time of fasting (Roza) and also to thank God (Allah) for blessing it with several rewards. It is also a form of donation or charity for those individuals who are not able to buy new clothes and sweets for the Eid celebration. Fitrah must be paid to poor or needy people before the start of Eid-prayer (Namaz) and is Wajib for all Muslims whether male, female, or minor, or adult, minor to less fortunate. According to Islamic Belief, it is mandatory for the head of the family to pay the required amount for other members as Eidi before Eid uo-FitrPrayer (Namaz).
