Ramadan – It is also called Ramazan and is considered one of the most sacred months for Muslims worldwide. Muslims perform fasting (Roza), offer prayer (Namaz), and give charity (Zakat) to the poor to seek blessings and forgiveness (Maghfirah) from Almighty Allah during the sacred month of Ramadan. The Holy Quran is the holy or sacred book for Muslims, which is a source of direction or guidance for Muslim individuals worldwide, and was revealed in the sacred month of Ramazan. Ramzan is the month of fasting (Roza), worship (Ibadat), devotion, sacrifice, and charity, which is divided into three stages (Ashra) – Mercy (Rehmat), Forgiveness (Maghfirat), and Nijat (free from hellfire).

Second Ashra of Ramzan – Forgiveness (Maghfirat) – It is an important and the second stage (Ashra) of Ramadan, which starts from the 11th to the 20th of Ramzan. Muslim individuals seek forgiveness (Maghfirat) and blessings for all his/her sins from Almighty Allah by regretting all their faults or sins in the second Ashra of Ramadan. As per Islamic Belief, God (Allah) opens the door of forgiveness for devotees during the second Ashra of Ramadan. Thus, Muslim individuals confess their sins and seek forgiveness from God (Allah) by ensuring that they will not repeat them in their future lives. The second stage (Ashra) of Ramzan provides an opportunity for Muslim individuals to cleanse their souls of their sins and seek pardon and blessings from God (Allah).
You can also recite and learn or clearly understand the whole Quran, which brings blessings of God (Allah in the second Ashra of Ramzan. In the second Ashra of Ramzan, you can seek forgiveness from God (Allah) through devotional prayers. God (Allah) offers a much bigger reward for your devotional prayer (namaz), mainly in the sacred month or second Ashra of Ramadan.
