Rajab signifies the starting of the seventh month as per the Islamic Calendar and also start for the preparation for Ramzan, month of fasting that holds great importance for Muslim community all over the world.  Rajab will be started from December 22, in the year2025 and one of the four sacred months in Islam for Muslims across the world. The word ‘Rajab’ came from Rajub which means regarded, admired, and respected. Muslims follow the Hijri or Islamic calendar which is based on the lunar cycle that consists of 12 months with 354-355 days as a lunar cycle lasts for 29 or 30 days comparatively than 30 or 31 days per month. It is important to note that 1 Rajab is celebrated twice time in the year 2025. Earlier, Rajab was started from January 2 in the year 2025.

Most Muslim individuals celebrate the sacred month of Rajab with a lot of faith, devotion, celebration, and happiness all around the world. Muslims seek strengthen, prayer, forgiveness, purify their hearts, improve the connection with God (Allah) to receive reward from God (Allah) in the sacred month of Rajab worldwide. Several Muslims observe roza (fast) to receive reward from God (Allah) in the sacred month of Rajab and also started the preparation for Ramzan in the month of Rajab.

I Rajab marks the birth anniversary of Muhammad Al-Baqir and indicates the beginning the sacred month of Ramzan. Most Muslims celebrate the birth anniversary of Muhammad Al-Baqir all over the world. Muhammad al-Baqir was born about 676 CE in the city of Medina, Saudi Arabia, which was the 5^th Imam of the 12 Imams, Ali al-Sajjad is also known as Zayn al-Abidin, was the 4^th Imam of Shia Muslims and the father of the 5^th Imam Muhammad al-Baqir. Jafar al-Sadiq was the 6^th Imam od Shia Muslims and the son of 5^th Imam Muhammad al-Baqir.
