Human Rights Day 2025

Introduction – Human Rights Day is celebrated every year on December 10 worldwide to honor the day when the United Nations General Assembly approved and declared the Universal Declaration of Human Rights (UDHR) on December 10, 1948. It marks the 75th anniversary of this global day that aims to celebrate and promote the basic rights of every person is allowed to regardless of their nationality, religion, caste, race, background, and gender.

History – The United Nations General Assembly approved the Universal Declaration of Human Rights on December 10, 1948. It is a great document and announces the inalienable rights of every individual who is entitled as a human being either of any religion, language, caste, gender, color, political party, social origin, or other opinions among other positions.

Significance – The main aim of this international day is to spread awareness about the importance of human rights for rebuilding the world with great humanity. It is important to note that the Universal Declaration of Human Rights is available in different 500 languages and is the most translated document worldwide. Human rights talk about the basic rights of each person in any part of the world. This global day promotes and celebrates fundamental rights of every person either gender, caste, or religion, or language, or many more.
