Jellyfish – are jelly-like creatures that may be found mainly in water both warm and cold water. They are commonly found in coastal zones across the world.  Many jellyfish are clear and some are vibrant colors of purple, yellow, blue, and pink. Jellyfish may be bioluminescent so they produce their own light. Jellyfish have existed for more than 500 million years before dinosaurs lived on the Earth. Most of the types of jellyfish may produce bioluminescence or own light that makes them glow in the dark. Thus, jellyfish are more visible in the deep oceans with their different colors such as blue, yellow, red, and violet.

Mostly, jellyfish are free-swimming marine animals with trailing tentacles and umbrella-shaped bells. This marine animal is found from surface waters to the deep sea across the world. Jellyfish eat plankton that are small organisms which float in the water. Several marine animals including seabirds, fish, and turtles eat jellyfish.
