What is Menopause

Menopause – It is a condition in which the age of women between 45 and 50 years that marks the end of the menstrual cycle. The average age of menopause of women is 51 years old but there is about 1 in 1000 women reach menopause before the age of 40.  If women are suffering from menopause condition, then they are very happy to no longer have their menstrual cycle. The menopause condition is difficult, especially for those women who reach menopause early.

It is a natural process with several common symptoms including hot flashes, chills, night sweats, depression, irritability, irregular periods, weight gain, discomfort and vaginal dryness during intercourse, and many more. Many women experience symptoms of menopause that are so severe that they interfere with or disturb their daily activities.

Symptoms of menopause – There are several symptoms of menopause are given below –

  3. Irregular periods
  4. Increased weight and slowed metabolism
  5. Chills
  6. Night sweats
  7. Difficulty in sleeping
  8. Vaginal dryness
  9. Sore breasts
  10. Hair loss
  11. Headaches

Note – It is important to note that changes in hormone levels in women may cause these symptoms. Several individuals may suffer from mild symptoms while some people have intense symptoms of menopause.
