India won the second test match by 7 wickets against West Indies

In the second test match between India and West Indies, India  won the second test match by 7 wickets against West Indies due to great performance in batting and bowling. After winning this test match, India clean sweep or won the series by 2-0) in the two test match series against West Indies.

Earlier, India won the toss and chose to bat first and made a huge score of 518/5d in the first inning due to great batting by Yashasvi Jaiswal 175 (258), Shubman Gill 129* (196), Sai Sudharsan 87 (165), and Dhurv Jurel 44 (79. Both Jomel Warrican 3/98 (34) and Roston Chase 1/83 (17.2) were good bowling from the West Indies side.

West Indies batted and was all at only 248 runs in the first inning due to great bowling by Kuldeep Yadav 5/82 (26.5), Ravindra Jadeja 3/46 (19), Jasprit Bumrah 1/40 (14), and Mohammed Siraj 1/16 (9). Alick Athanaze 41 (84), Shai Hope 36 (57), and Tagenarine Chanderpaul 34 (67) were good batting from the West Indies side. After this inning, India lead by 270 runs against West Indies after the first inning.

In the second inning, West Indies was all out at 390 runs due to good batting by John Campbell 115 (199), Shai Hope 103 (214), Justin Greaves 50 (85), Roston Chase 40 (72), and Jayden Seales 32 (67). Jasprit Bumrah 3/44  (17.5), Kuldeep Yadav 3/104 (29), and Mohammed Siraj 2/43 (15) were good bowling from the Indian side. After this inning, West Indies set a target of 120 runs for India to win this match.

India lost 3 wickets, easily chased the target of 120 runs in the second inning, and won the second test match by 7 wickets against West Indies due to good batting by K.L. Rahul 58* (108) and Sai Sudharsan 39 (76). Both Roston Chase 2/36 (9) and Jomel Warrican 1/39 (15.2) were good bowling from the West Indies side.

Ravindra Jadeja (IND), was declared as the Player of the Series due to his great performance in bowling and batting.

Kuldeep Yadav (IND), 5/82 & 3/104, was declared as the Player of the Match due to his great performance in bowling in this test match.
