International Music Day 2025

International Music Day is celebrated every year on October 1 across the world to pay tribute to all musician and several styles of music, which music lover enjoy and share to bring them together via shared emotions. International Music Council founded International Music Day in the year 1975 to celebrate the worldwide importance of music The main aim of this International Day is to inspire, connect, and unite music lovers or individuals all around the world of several cultures.

Music is one of the important ways for reducing depression. Slow music helps in reducing in depression. The music changes the mood of an individual during stress or depression and it’s a great time pass as most of the youths in home during their holiday or free time. As per study, listening music influences the feelings, behaviors, thoughts and behaviors. Music therapies are helpful in promoting emotional health, boost psychological and manage with stress.

Music is beneficial in several ways in reducing depression which are as given below –
