Name the professional athletes you respect the most and why.

My favorite professional athlete is Sifan Hassan, who is a middle and long-distance runner, which belongs to the Netherlands. She is popular in participating running Championships in the international event including Olympics, and many other major sport events or tournaments.

Sifan Hassan won three medals in the Tokyo Olympics 2020 including two gold medals in the 5000m and 10,000m race, and one bronze medal in the 1500m race.. She also won three medals in the Paris Olympics 2024 including one gold medal in the women’s marathon and  two bronze medals in the 5000m race and 10,000m race. Sifan Hassan become the first woman professional athlete who won two gold medals in the 5000m and 10,000m race and women’s marathon race in the Olympic games.

Thus, my favorite professional athlete is Sifan Hassan.
