International Rabbit Day 2025

Introduction – International Rabbit Day is celebrated every year on the fourth Saturday of September every, which means International Rabbit Day will be celebrated on September 27 in the year 2025 across the world. This global day is observed on September 24 to encourage and care for both domestic and wild rabbits. Rabbits are also called as bunnies that are small mammals in the family Leporidae. Rabbits are one of the cutest and most adorable animals and they are popular for their speed and charming attitude. In the past several years, the population of rabbits has been reducing and resulting in a larger impact on our natural ecosystem. Thus, the main purpose of this international day is to spread awareness about the preservation of rabbits among common people worldwide.

History – The Rabbit Charity was established the International Rabbit Day in the United Kingdom in the year 1998. The main aim of this international day is to raise awareness about the protection and conservation of rabbits across the world.

Significance – Rabbits are one of the most loveable mammals and are known for their charming attitude. Most children like rabbits as pet animals in their home and they love to play. But the population of rabbits is decreasing. So, this international aims to protect and conservation of this cutest animal all around the world. The main purpose of this International Day is to highlight the importance of rabbit in the nature and raise awareness about the conservation of rabbits across the world.
