But Dinesh  Phadnis who played the role of Inspector Freddy died on December 5 in the year 2023 due to liver damage. 

I like to watch CID, a popular show as a kid.At that time, CID was tekecasted in two days in a week. I waited for week and watch or enjoy CID with my parents as a kid. I also like the character of Inspector Abhijeet as a true detective in the most popular and thriller show, CID. In the present time, CID is still coming on Sony Entertainment Channel as new look and season. Thus, I still watch or enjoy CID in Saturday and Sunday night on Sony Entertainment Channel with my parents
