International Youth Day is celebrated every year on August 12 to highlight several problems or challenges that are faced by youths across the world. Unemployment is one of the main problems of youths all around the world. Due to Covid-19, millions of youths are unemployed which is a serious problem globally.  The main purpose of this international day is to come together to recognize and bring attention to several problems that are faced by youths across the world.

Youngsters play an important role in the development of countries with great hard work and also influence the politics of any country. Thus, most of the governments concentrate to solve the issue that is related to youngsters across the world. This international day is observed by several awareness campaigns, events, and community concerts which are beneficial in solving economic or socio-political problems that are faced by youth worldwide. Presently, unemployment is the main problem among youngsters worldwide. When a male individual was unemployed then it may be avoided by their family members, friends, sisters, and even female partners, which may increase the suicides of male individual worldwide. Due to global tension and artificial intelligence, several companies want to sack or layoff their workers in their organizations which leads to unemployment across the world. Unemployed male individuals may faces several challenges including financial crisis, breakups or divorce wit their female partners, and many more worldwide.

Now, Youngsters are struggling for basic facilities including health, education, and employment across the world. Youths face several problems with more challenges due to covid-19 across the world. This global provides an opportunity to discuss how to prevent future challenges including unemployment, education, and many more. This international day also highlighted the effect of the Covid-19 pandemic on the health, unemployment, food systems, and environment of youths globally.
