In the match between Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) and Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB). SRH won the match by 42 runs with RCB due to great performance in batting and bowling. After winning this match, SRH was placed in the 8th  position with 11 points and was already out of IPL 2025. RCB was placed in the 3td position with 17 points after losing this match as per points table of IPL 2025 and was already qualified for the Play-off of IPL 2025.

Earlier, RCB won the toss and chose to bowl first thus SRH first batted and made a huge score of 231/6 in 20 overs due to great batting by Ishan Kishan 94* (48), Abhishek Sharma 34 (17), and Aniket Verma 26 (9). Romario Shepherd 2/14 (2), Krunal Pandya 1/38 (4), and Bhuvneshwar Kumar 1/43 (4) were good bowling from the RCB side. After this inning, SRH set a huge target of 232 runs in 20 overs for RCB to win this match.

During chasing, RCB was all out at only 189 runs in 20 overs and lost the match by 42 runs with SRH due to great bowling by Pat Cummins 3/28 (4), Eshan Malinga 2/37 (4), and Nitish Kumar Reddy 1/13 (2). Phil Salt 62 (32), Virat Kohli 43 (25), and Jitesh Sharma 24 (15) were good batting from the SRH side.

Ishan Kishan (SRH), 94* (48), was declared as the Player of the Match due to his great performance in batting in this match.
