During chasing, DC was all out at only 193 runs in 19 overs, and lose the match by 12 runs with MI due to great bowling by Karn Sharma 3/36 (4), Mitchell Santner 2/43 (4), and Deepak Chahar 1/24 (3). Karun Nair 89 (40), Abhishek Porel 33 (25), and Ashutosh Sharma 17 (14) were good batting from the DC side.

Karn Sharma (MI), 3/36 (4), was declared as the Player of the Match due to his great performance in bowling in this match.
