New Zealand won the Semi-final Match by 50 runs against South Africa due to great performance in batting, bowling, and fielding. After winning this match, New Zealand reached the final of Champions Trophy Tournament 2025 and will play match with India on March 9, 2025 in Dubai.

Earlier, New Zealand won the toss and choose to bat first and made a huge score of 362/6  in 50 overs due to great batting by Rachin Ravindra 108 (101), Kane Williamson 102 (94), Glenn Philips 49* (27), and Darryl Mitchell 49 (37). Lungi Ngidi 3/72 (10), Kagiso Rabada 2/70 (10), and Wiaan Mulder 1/48 (6) were good bowling from the South Africa side. After this inning, New Zealand set a huge target of 363 runs in 50 overs for South Africa to win the semi-final match of Champions Trophy Tournament 2025.

During chasing, South Africa lost 9 wickets and made 312 runs in 50 overs and lose the match by 50 runs with New Zealand due to great bowling by Mitchell Santner 3/43 (10), Glenn Philips 2/27 (3),  Matt Henry 2/43 (7), Rachin Ravindra 1/20 (5), and Michael Bracewell 1/53 (10). David Miller 100* (67), Rassie Van Der Dussen 69 (66), and Temba Bavuma 56 (71) were good batting from the South African side.

Rachin Ravindra (NZ), 108 (101) & 1/20 (5), was declared as the Player of the Match due to great performance in batting and bowling in the semi-final match against South Africa.
