During chasing, India easily reached the target of 242 runs in 42.3 overs  and won the match by 6 wickets against Pakistan due to great batting by Virat Kohli 100* (111), Shreyas Iyer 56 (67), and Shubman Gill 46 (52). Shaheen Afridi 2/74 (8), Abrar Ahmed 1/28 (10), and Khushdil Shah 1/43 (7.3) were good bowling from the Pakistan side.
