Introduction – Erectile dysfunction also known as impotence is one of the sexual diseases in which male people are unable to maintain or get erections during sexual activity with their female partner. Sex is an important part of life that energizes the relationship between couples. It also plays an important role in making a strong bonding between husband and wife. But if there is a sexual problem including impotence in male people then it can affect the relationship between couples.

This sexual problem is responsible for creating tension between husband and wife and may result in divorce. Due to this sexual disease, men are not able to satisfy their female partners during sexual intercourse.   • Medications – Some of the medications including antihistamines, antidepressants, and several medications that can be used in the treatment of high blood pressure, any type of cancer, heart disease, blood disorders, and many more that are responsible for sexual dysfunction.
  • Psychological conditions – Several psychological conditions such as stress, anxiety, and severe depression that may cause erectile dysfunction.
  • Relationship problems – If tension is created between husband and wife for a long period then it may cause erectile dysfunction.

Prevention – There are several ways to prevent impotence that make a healthy sexual life for couples are given below –
