Shab-e-Meraj, also known as the Night of Miraj and the Al-Isra Wal-Miraj is expected to occur on the night of January 26 or 27 across the world. Shab-e-Maraj is celebrated on the 27th Rajab every year worldwide. It was on that night of Meraj that the Prophet Mohammad traveled to the seven heavens and met Almighty Allah, and Shab-e-Meraj begins on the evening of January 27, 2025, in our country.

On this special day, Allah (God) asked Hazrat Jibrael (RA) to bring the Prophet Mohammad to the heavens. This is one of several events mentioned in the Hadith and the holy book, the Quran. Thus, Muslims offer special prayers in Rajab 27 as Shab-e-Meraj and ask for the forgiveness of God (Allah).
