Jannat al-Baqi is situated next to or close to the Masjid al-Nabawi and is one of the oldest and first Islamic Cemetery in the Islamic History in the city of Medina, Saudi Arabia. As per Islamic History, Jannat al-Baqi was founded or establoshed by Prophet Muhammad and served as the burial place of their companions, family members, and relatives. Jannat al-Baqi opens for the public after the Fajr and Asra prayers for Ziarat in the city of Medina, Saudi Arabia.

Jannat al-Baqi is also called as Baqi al-Gharqad and is considered one of the holiest or sacred cemeteries in the Islamic history, and it is lsituated in the city of Medina, Saudi Arabia. It is also called as Baqi al-Gharqad which means ‘’Baqi of the Boxthorn and the cemetery means ‘’the Baqi’’ in the Arabic language. There are several Islamic religious individuals who are buried at Jannat al-Baqi including Hazrat Imam Hasan, Hazrat Imam Jafar A.S., Hazrat Fatimah, and many more.
I also visited Jannat al-Baqi after Asra Namaz with our family and group members because Jannat al-Baqi is open for people after Fajr and Asra namaz. Firstly, I offered Asra Namaz (prayer) and then visited Jannat al-Baqi for ziarat during Umrah.
