Introduction – Masjid al-Ghamama is one of the oldest mosques and is located near Masjid al-Nabawi in the city of Medina, Saudi Arabia. The word Ghamama means cloud (badal) and is a historical site where the Prophet Muhammad performed an Eid Prayer (Namaz) in the Masjid of Al-Ghamamah in the year 631 thus, Masjid al-Ghamama is also popularly called as Masjid Eid.
