Eid Milad-un-Nabi is celebrated every year on the 12th of Rabi-ul-Awal across the world to celebrate the birth anniversary of Prophet Mohammad. It is one of the most important festivals mainly for the Muslim community and is observed in the month of the ‘Rabi ul Awal’. As per the Islamic Calendar, Rabi ul Awal is the third month of the Islamic month and Eid Milad un-Nabi will be celebrated in the year 2024 on September 16 in India.

Muslims celebrated Eid Milad-un-Nabi with passion and great devotion to celebrate the birth anniversary of Prophet Mohammad by sharing sweets and participating in processions, offering prayers, and remembering the beautiful life of the Prophet. On this day, they also listen to naats.  

Eid Milad un-Nabi marks or honors the birth anniversary of Prophet Mohammad. On this day, individuals offer prayers and gratitude to their family members and close friends.
