It’s a very proud moment for our country that Indian Para Athlete, Hokato Hotozhe Sema won created history and won the bronze medal in the men’s shot put F57 event at the Paris Paralympics 2024. After winning the bronze medal, India won 27 medals including 6 gold medals, 9 silver medals, and 12 bronze medals at the Paris Paralympics 2024.

Hokato Hotozhe Sema was placed in the third position with the best throw of 14.65m and won the historical bronze medal in the men’s shot put F57 event at the Paris Paralympics 2024. In the same event, Yasin Khosravi (Iran) won the gold medal with the best throw of 15.96m and Thiago Paulino dos Santos (Brazil) won the silver medal with the best throw of 15.06m at the Paris Paralympics 2024.

Earlier, Hokato Hotozhe Sema won the bronze medal in the men’s shot put F57 event at the Asian Para Games in Hangzhou in the year 2022.
