It’s a very proud moment for our country that Indian Para Athlete, Pranav Soorma won the silver medal in the men’s club throw F51 event at the Paris Paralympics 2024. After winning this medal, India won 24 medals including 5 gold medals, 9 silver medals and 10 bronze medals and was placed in the 13th position at the Paris Paralympics 2024.

Pranav Soorma was placed in the second position with the best throw of 34.59m and won the historical silver medal in the men’s club throw F51 event at the Paris Paralympics 2024. In the same event, Dharambir (India) won the gold medal with the best throw of 34.92m and Zeljko Dimitrijevic (Serbia) won the bronze medal with the best throw of 34.18m at the Paris Paralympics 2024.

Earlier, Pranav Soorma won the gold medal in the men’s club throw F51 event at the Asian Para Games in Hangzhou in the year 2022.
