Harvinder Singh scripted history and won the gold medal in archery at the Paris Paralympics 2024

It’s a good news for our country that Indian Para Archer, Harvinder Singh created history and won the gold medal in archery at the Paris Paralympics 2024. After winning this match, Harvinder Singh become a first Indian Para to win gold medal in archery at the Paris Paralympics 2024.

Harvinder Singh won the final archery match 6-0 (28-24, 28-27, and 29-25) with Lukasz Ciszek of Poland in the men’s singles recurve archery at the Paris Paralympics 2024. After winning the gold medal, India won 22 medals including 4 gold medals, 8 silver medals, and 10 bronze medals at the Paris Paralympics 2024.

Earlier, Harvinder Singh won the bronze medal in the men’s singles recurve archery at the Tokyo Paralympics 2020. He also won the bronze medal in the doubles recurve archery event at the Asian Para Games in Hangzhou in the year 2022
