Sundar Singh Gurjar created history and won the bronze medal in javelin throw at the Paris Paralympics 2024

It’s a very proud moment for our country that Indian Para Javelin Thrower, Sundar Singh Gurjar scripted history and won the bronze medal in the javelin throw at the Paris Paralympics 2024.

Sundar Singh Gurjar was placed in the third position with the best throw of 64.96m and won the historical bronze medal in the men’s javelin throw F46 event at the Paris Paralympics 2024. In the same event, Guillermo Varona Gonzalez (Cuba) won the gold medal with the best throw of 66.14m and Ajeet Singh Yadav (India) won the silver medal with the best throw of 65.62m at the Paris Paralympics 2024.

Earlier, Sundar Singh Gurjar won the bronze medal in the men’s javelin throw F46 event at the Tokyo Paralympics 2020. He also won the gold medal in the men’s javelin throw F46 event at the Asian Para Games in Hangzhou in the year 2022.
