It’s a very proud moment for our country that Indian Para High Jumper, Sharad Kumar created history and won the silver medal in the men’s high jump T63 event at the Paris Paralympics 2024.

Sharad Kumar was placed in the second position with the best jump of 1.88m and won the historical silver medal in the men’s high jump T63 event at the Paris Paralympics 2024. In the same event, Ezra Frech (United States) won the gold medal with the best jump of 1.94m and Mariyappan Thangavelu (India) won the bronze medal with the best jump of 1.85m at the Paris Paralympics 2024.

Earlier, Sharad Kumar won the bronze medal in the men’s high jump T63 event at the Tokyo Paralympics 2020.
