After winning the second test match, Bangladesh scripted history and won the test series by (2-0) in the two test matches series against Pakistan.

Earlier, Bangladesh won the toss and chose to bowl first thus Pakistan first batted and was all out at only 274 runs in the first inning due to great bowling by Mehidy Hasan Miraz 5/61 (22.1), Taskin Ahmed 3/57 (17), Nahid Rana 1/58 (15), and Shakib Al Hasan 1/34 (17). Saim Ayub 58 (110), Shan Masood 57 (69), Salman Ali Agha 54 (95), and Babar Azam 31 (77) were good batting from the Pakistan side.

Bangladesh batted and was all out at only 262 runs in the first inning due to great bowling by Khurram Shehzad 6/90 (21), Salman Ali Agha 2/13 (3.4), and Mir Hamza 2/50 16). Both Litton Das 138 (228) and Mehidy Hasan Miraz 78 (124) were good batting from the Bangladesh side. After this inning, Pakistan leads by 12 runs against Bangladesh in the first inning.

Pakistan again batted and was out at only 172 runs in the second inning due to great bowling by Hasan Mahmud 5/43 (10.4), Nahid Rana 4/44 (11), and Taskin Ahmed 1/40 (10). Salman Ali Agha 47* (71), Mohammad Rizwan 43 (73), and Shan Masood 28 (34) were good batting from the Pakistan side. After the second inning, Pakistan set a target of 185 runs for Bangladesh to win this test match.

Bangladesh reached the target of 185 runs in 4 wickets and historical won the second test match by 6 wickets with Pakistan due to good batting by Zakir Hasan 40 (39), Najmul Hossain Shanto 38 (82), Mominul Haque 34 (71), Shafiul Islam 24 (51), Mushfiqur Rahim 22* (51), and Shakib Al Hasan 21* (43).
