It’s a very proud moment for our country that Indian Para Athlete, Yogesh Kathuniya won the silver medal in the men’s discus throw F56 at the Paris Paralympics 2024.

Yogesh Kathuniya was placed in the second position with the best throw of 42.22m and won the historical silver medal in the men’s discus throw F56 at the Paris Paralympics 2024. It’s the 8th medal for India including 1 gold medal, 3 silver medals, and 4 bronze medals at the Paris Paralympics 2024.
In the same event, Claudiney Batista (Brazil) won the gold medal with the best throw of 46.86m and Konstantinos Tzounis (Greece) won the bronze medal with the best throw of 41.32m in the Paris Paralympics 2024.
Earlier, Yogesh Kathuniya won the silver medal with the best throw of 44.38m in the men’s discus throw F56 at the Tokyo Paralympics 2020
