It’s a proud moment for our country that Indian Para Badminton Player, Nitesh Kumar created history and won the gold medal in badminton at the Paris Paralympics 2024. After winning this gold medal, India won 9 medals including 2 gold medals, 3 silver medals, and 4 bronze medals at the Paris Paralympics 2024.

Nitesh Kumar won the final badminton match by 21-14, 18-21, and 23-21 with Daniel Bethell of Great Britain and won the historical gold medal in the men’s singles SL3 at the Paris Paralympics 2024.

Earlier, Nitesh Kumar won the gold medal in badminton in the men’s doubles SL3 at the Asian Para Games 2022. He also won the silver medal in badminton in the men’s singles SL3 at the Asian Para Games 2022. Nitesh Kumar also won the bronze medal in badminton in the mixed doubles at the Asian Para Games 2022.
