After winning semi-final badminton match, Thulasimathi Murugesan reached final and assured medal in badminton at the Paris Paralympics 2024.

Thulasimathi Murugesan won the semi-final badminton match by 23-21 and 21-17 with Manisha Ramadass of India in the women’s singles SU5 at the Paris Paralympics 2024. After winning the semi-final badminton match. Thulasimathi Murugesan reached final and assured atleast silver medal in badminton in the women’s singles SU5 at the Paris Paralympics 2024.

Earlier, Thulasimathi Murugesan won two badminton matches in the group stage and reached semi-final in badminton in the women’s singles SU5 at the Paris Paralympics 2024.
