It’s a very proud moment for our country that Indian paralympian, Avani Lekhara created history and won the gold medal in the women’s 10m air rifle standing SH1 at the Paris Paralympics 2024.

Avani Lekhara won the gold medal with the score of 249.7 points and was placed in the first position in the women’s 10m air rifle standing SH1 at the Paris Paralympics 2024.
Earlier, Avani Lekhara won the gold medal with the score of 249.6 points in the women’s 10m air rifle standing SH1 at the Tokyo Paralympics 2020. She also won the bronze medal in the women’s 50m rifle 3 positions standing SH1 at the Tokyo Paralympics 2020.
Avani Lekhara become the first Indian woman to win two gold medals in the Paralympics Games.
