Introduction – Neeraj Chopra is an Indian athlete and javelin thrower and won the silver medal for India in the Paris Olympics 2024. He created history and won the gold with the best throw of 87.58 in the javelin throw at the Tokyo Olympics 2020. After winning this gold medal, Neeraj Chopra become the first Asian athlete to win a gold medal in the Olympic games. He is also become the first Asian athlete to win gold medal in the men’s javelin throw at the World Athletics Championships.

Achievements – The main achievement of Neeraj Chopra is to win the gold medal with the best throw of 87.58m in the men’s javelin throw at the Tokyo Olympics 2020. Presently, Neeraj Chopra won the silver medal with the best throw of 89.45m in the men’s javelin throw at the Paris Olympics 2024. Thus, Neeraj Chopra become the first Indian athlete to win two medals in the men’s javelin throw in the two Olympic games.
Earlier, Neeraj Chopra scripted history and won the gold medal with the best throw of 88.17m in the men’s javelin throw at the World Athletics Championships 2023. He also won the gold medal with the best throw of 88.44m in the men’s javelin throw at the Diamond League 2022. Neeraj Chopra become the first Indian athlete to win the gold medal in Diamond League 2022.
Neeraj Chopra also won the gold medal with the best throw of 88.88m in the men’s javelin throw at the Asian Games 2022 in Hangzhou. He also won the gold medal in the men’s javelin throw at the Asian Games 2018 in Indonesia.
