Pi Approximation Day 2024

Pi Approximation Day is also known as Casual Pi Day and is celebrated every year on July 22 across the world to raise awareness about the importance of Pi in mathematics calculations with the value of 3.14 or 22/7.  This global day is celebrated on July 22 because the date coincides with the month or fractional value of pi is 22/7, as July is the 7th month of the year. The ratio of the circumference of a circle to its diameter is known as pi with the value of 3.14 or 22/7 that can be used in physics and mathematics calculations

British Mathematician, William Jones invented the symbol π in the year 1706 to represent the ratio of the circumference of a circle to its diameter with the value of 22/7 or 3.14. Pi is an integral mathematical constant that can be used for mathematics and physics calculations. This International Day provides an opportunity to share the importance of Pi in calculations in geometry, trigonometry, and many more field.

Pi Approximation Day also provides an opportunity for students, math enthusiasts, and teachers to share the importance of Pi with its applications in several fields such as physics, geometry, calculus, and trigonometry. You can also celebrate this day by sharing the significance of Pi in calculations across the world.
