World Emoji Day 2024

Introduction – World Emoji Day is celebrated every year on July 17 worldwide to highlight the importance of emojis in digital communication with several emotion. The main purpose of this international day is to know about using emojis in communication.

Emoji – Emoji is an ideogram, smiley, pictogram, and logogram, which is embedded in text and is used in web pages and electronic messages. The term ‘’emoji’’ comes from the Japanese e (picture) + moji (character), the resemblance or likeness to the English words emoticon and emotion. The main use of emojis is to fill emotional cues or signals in typed communication or conversation with relatives and friends. Emoji may exist in several genres such as food, facial expressions activity, expressions, symbols, celebrations, objects, emotions, and many more

It enables individuals to vividly express their emotions and feelings that cannot be expressed in texts and simple letters. Emojis also serve as a visual representation of objects, human emotions, and certain symbols in extensive or wide use across the Internet including social media platforms, messaging, text, and many more modes of communication.

  • Wink Emoji – It indicates a joke or a hidden meaning that cannot be understood by many other individuals.

  • Blush Emoji – It represents positive feelings and extreme happiness.
  • Sleeping Face – It indicates a sleepy mood during communication or want to say good night.

My Favorite Emoji – My favorite emojis are Smiley Emoji and Joy Emoji because it is commonly used to express your happiness and help in making a strong relationship or friendship with anyone including friends, colleagues, and many other professionals or strangers.
